Publication Ethics
The Jurnal Seuramoe Pendidikan Aceh is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct in the publication of research. All parties involved in the publishing process, including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher, are expected to adhere to these ethical principles to ensure the integrity, quality, and transparency of the journal’s content.
Duties of Authors

Originality and Plagiarism
- Authors must ensure that the work submitted is original and has not been published elsewhere. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.
- Proper citation and acknowledgment of others' work must be made for any ideas, data, or text taken from other sources.

Data Integrity and Accuracy
- Authors must present their research results honestly and accurately.
- Fabrication or falsification of data is unacceptable and will lead to rejection of the manuscript.

Authorship
- All individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study should be listed as authors.
- Authors must ensure that all co-authors have approved the final manuscript and agree with its submission and content.

Conflict of Interest
- Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest that may have influenced the research or its interpretation.

Multiple Submissions
- Authors must not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously. Manuscripts under consideration for publication in Jurnal Seuramoe Pendidikan Aceh should not be submitted elsewhere.

- Authors must adhere to ethical guidelines for conducting research, particularly when it involves human subjects, animals, or sensitive data. They must provide evidence of ethical approval from the relevant authorities or institutions.

- Editors must maintain confidentiality throughout the editorial process. Manuscripts and their contents should not be disclosed to anyone other than the relevant authors, reviewers, and necessary journal staff.

- Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest. They should ensure that decisions are made based on academic merit and not influenced by personal or professional ties.

- Editors must address any ethical concerns raised during the peer review process or after publication, including potential misconduct or plagiarism, and take appropriate actions such as retractions or corrections.

- Reviewers must complete their review within the assigned time frame. If they are unable to meet the deadline, they must inform the editor promptly.

- Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest that may affect their impartiality in reviewing the manuscript. They should decline to review if there is any reason that their judgment might be biased.

- If errors or issues are identified after publication, the publisher will take the necessary steps to issue corrections or retractions and ensure that the academic record is accurate.
Ethical Misconduct
- Jurnal Seuramoe Pendidikan Aceh follows the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to address any allegations of ethical misconduct, such as plagiarism, data falsification, or unethical research practices.
- Any suspected misconduct will be investigated thoroughly, and if proven, appropriate actions, such as manuscript rejection, retraction, or banning of the authors from future submissions, will be taken.
