The Aceh Health Sciences Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. To ensure the originality and authenticity of all submitted manuscripts, the journal screens each manuscript for plagiarism using Turnitin plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts must have a similarity level of less than 30%. Any submission exceeding this threshold will be rejected and returned to the author for revision.
The journal enforces a zero tolerance policy for plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected, and if plagiarism is detected after publication, the article will be retracted. Authors are responsible for ensuring their work is original and properly cites all sources. Direct quotations, paraphrased material, and ideas that are not their own must be appropriately attributed to the original sources.
If plagiarism is detected at any stage—during submission, peer review, or post-publication—the journal will take corrective actions, which may include manuscript rejection, article retraction, or notifying the author's institution. The Aceh Health Sciences Journal is dedicated to promoting academic honesty, fostering originality, and ensuring that all published research upholds the highest standards of quality and integrity.
