Plagiarism Check

The Jambo Digitech journal implements a strict plagiarism check policy to ensure the originality and authenticity of all published manuscripts. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must have a similarity index of 30% or less as verified by plagiarism detection software.

Plagiarism Detection Process:

  1. Initial Screening:

    • All submitted manuscripts are checked using reliable plagiarism detection tools e.g., Turnitin.
    • The similarity index must not exceed 30%, excluding properly cited references, quotations, and standard terms.
  2. Assessment of Similarity:

    • If the similarity index is above the threshold, the editorial team will evaluate whether it is due to improper citation, excessive reuse of prior work, or intentional plagiarism.
  3. Actions on High Similarity Index:

    • Manuscripts with a similarity index higher than 30% will be returned to the authors for revision.
    • Cases of suspected intentional plagiarism will lead to immediate rejection and possible blacklisting of the authors.

Author Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the manuscript is original and free from any form of plagiarism.
  • Properly cite all sources of information, including ideas, data, and text borrowed from previous works.
  • Avoid self-plagiarism by limiting reuse of text from the author’s previous publications.

Editorial Commitment:

  • The editorial team is committed to maintaining academic integrity and will rigorously monitor all submissions for plagiarism.
  • Any disputes regarding plagiarism will be handled transparently following ethical guidelines from COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).

By adhering to this plagiarism check policy, Jambo Digitech ensures that all published works uphold the principles of originality and academic integrity.
